How Karvaan Tours Started
Karvaan Tours was founded in 2014 in Utsunomiya, Japan, with one straightforward idea: international travelers deserve a better way to experience Japan than crowded buses and rushed group schedules.
We started with a small fleet and a focus on the Kanto region, covering destinations like Mount Fuji, Nikko, and Tokyo. Over the years, we expanded to Hakone, Nagano, Kyoto, and beyond, building our routes around what our guests actually wanted to see, not what was easiest to operate.
